Then And Now

Bertrand Productions have collaborated with Helen Drutt, Matthew Drutt and Globe Dye Works to produce Philadelphia: Then and Now 1950-2019, an exhibition presenting works from over 50 Philadelphia-based craft artists from the last seven decades. Bertrand Productions will host 14 emerging and mid-career artists currently active in their artistic endeavors in the NOW section located in their gallery. Globe Dye Works, curated by Helen Drutt and Mathew Drutt, will host over 40 historic works in various craft media in the THEN section located in the building main boiler room gallery. Philadelphia: Then and Now 1950-2019 runs Oct 9th - Nov 10th 2019. The reception will be held Saturday Oct 12th from 7-9pm.


The American Craft Council descends upon Philadelphia for their 2019 annual conference between October 10th-12th. The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is open to the public November 8th-10th. Additionally, CraftNOW will host a variety of events including a symposium on Friday November 8th surrounding the theme Craft Capital. The excitement of all of the events occurring in Philadelphia this fall has been the catalyst for Philadelphia: Then and Now 1950-2019.
